The mud guard mounted on the air filter box rubs and damages the swingarm, especially in muddy conditions. After a while, the material can be so worn out that the swing arm has to be replaced. The 4MX swing arm guard eliminates the problem with a sealed ball bearing and roller that mounts to the lower shock bolt and prevents the mud flap from rubbing. As the rocker moves up and down, the roller runs along the mud flap, keeping it away from the rocker and preventing wear.
